If you're new here, or don't follow me on my other platforms, WELCOME! My name's Nicole and I'm just here to share my passion for fitness and a healthy lifestyle.

As a kid, I was into pretty much every sport you could think of and my poor mum was constantly running me around to soccer, cross country, touch footy, swimming (those 4am wake ups...) etc. Fast forward to Year 11 and 12, when I discovered boys (cringe me.) got a job and developed some unhealthy habits - not exercising, living off takeaway.

In my early 20s my passion for health was reignited and I felt like I've had to relearn everything about fitness, nutrition, and health. I went through your standard 'I suck at this and want to quit' phase, the overly obsessive 'spend-2hrs-a-day-in-the-gym-and-count-every-calorie' phase, and the 'I can eat chocolate and wine every night and still be fit it's called #balance' phase.

From being way too restrictive (there was a point there where I genuinely believed that white potatoes and rice were bad foods that would prevent me from seeing #gains) to the aforementioned chocolate and wine period and everything in between. I finally felt like I had found a good place. Then - BANG. Pregnant. With the most beautiful bubba boy. Now I'm postpartum, still rebuilding my fitness, and sharing my love for all things health and nutrition online. I hope you take away from this that health and fitness is not a linear journey. You will have ups, downs, and detours. Things will not go to plan. But if you ignite your passion, and hopefully are inspired by some simple and sustainable tips that I personally implement, then you'll always be on the right track.
